Oct. ‘02 Respect Life Display – Throughout
October, Respect Life month,
the
Board presented a display at the back of the church which
sought
to educate parishioners about the Respect Life Board and
its
work and make available educational resources.
Material now
has
a permanent display place in the rear of the Church
Oct. ’02 Respect Life Articles Series – Series
of educational articles
produced
by the U.S. Conference of Bishops addressing the range
of
areas where respect for life is under attack - from sexual
behavior to
abortion to euthanasia to cloning and human slavery –
distributed
to the parish community through the Sunday Bulletin.
Family Mass with the
theme “Life – A Wonderful Choice.” The
previous
week classes studied the sacredness of life and then
made
individual posters celebrating life which were presented
during the Mass as
class representatives spoke about God’s great
gift
of life.
at
all Masses to educate parishioners about the work of Priests for
Life and the importance
of their involvement and support for the
Catholic
Church’s Respect Life work.
